Cold case meets series 3 fix-it. Part I takes place entirely within His Last Vow, Part II takes place starting at the end of HLV and continues after.

An additional note about this fic: It’s a little intense. I know it is. I wanted to read a fix-it where nothing was easy or tied up with a bow, so I wrote one. Saying “hope you enjoy” feels silly, but… eventually, I hope you do.
